Welcome to OtterPilot. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, do not use OtterPilot.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using any part of the OtterPilot service, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement, and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. Description of Service

OtterPilot is a social media management platform that integrates with the official Meta Graph API to allow users to manage Facebook Pages, Instagram Business accounts, Messenger conversations, advertising campaigns, and analytics from a unified dashboard.

OtterPilot is an independent third-party service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Meta Platforms, Inc.Use of our service is subject to Meta's own platform policies in addition to these Terms.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. OtterPilot is not liable for losses resulting from unauthorized access due to your failure to keep credentials secure.

4. Meta Platform Usage

When you connect your Meta account to OtterPilot, you grant us permission to access and manage your Meta assets (Pages, Instagram accounts, messages, ads) on your behalf, within the scopes you explicitly authorize via Meta's OAuth flow.

You agree to comply with all applicable Meta Platform Policies, including but not limited to the Facebook Platform Terms and the Instagram Platform Policy.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use OtterPilot to:

  • Violate any applicable law or regulation
  • Send spam, unsolicited messages, or automated bulk content without consent
  • Scrape, harvest, or collect data from Meta or other platforms in violation of their terms
  • Circumvent any security or access controls
  • Impersonate another person or entity
  • Engage in fraudulent advertising or misleading promotions
  • Upload or distribute malicious code or content

6. Data and Privacy

Your use of OtterPilot is subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, store, and use your data. By using OtterPilot, you consent to the data practices described therein.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of OtterPilot — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software — are the exclusive property of OtterPilot and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

8. Disclaimers

OtterPilot is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. Use of the service is at your own risk.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, OtterPilot and its officers, employees, agents, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service, including loss of data, revenue, or goodwill.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for violations of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion. Upon termination, your right to access and use OtterPilot ceases immediately.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the updated Terms on this page with a new “Last Updated” date. Your continued use of OtterPilot after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts.
